The godfather of anole biology is visiting Rochester next Monday and Tuesday. While here, Jonathan Losos will be giving two seminars. The first – Lizards in an evolutionary tree: ecology and adaptive radiation of anoles – will be on Monday at noon in Hutchison 473. The second – Seeing the forest for the trees: Limitations on the use of phylogenies in comparative biology – will be on Tuesday at 3:30 in Hutchison 316. I’ll also be hosting a reception for Jonathan on Monday at 6:30 at my house located at 56 Bond St in the South Wedge. Let me know if you’re planning to attend so I can order the appropriate amount of food.
